Moldavite Pendant — Double-Sided Polished & Raw

This Moldavite pendant is crafted in a teardrop form with two distinct faces, one side smoothly polished as a cabochon, the other left completely raw and untouched. It is not common to find a piece that shows both sides of the stone so clearly in one pendant, the polished front revealing the depth and clarity of the green glass, while the raw back keeps its original sculptural texture.

So what exactly is moldavite? It is not really a traditional gemstone at all, but a genuine relic of a cosmic event. Around 15 million years ago, a massive meteorite struck what is now the Ries crater in Germany, and the molten material it threw into the air cooled mid-flight before landing across Central Europe, eventually settling in what is now the Czech Republic.
